So Long, Farewell...

Well here we are 14 years later and I'm writing my last blog post.  I started this little blog so that I could share life with friends and family that were living far away.  Back then, there was no instagram, and Facebook was in the beginning days (and we all still found it to be a bit strange).  A wedding, a couple of moves, three kids, many travels and countless adventures and it has been fun to document life in pictures and share it with loved ones.  BUT as you can imagine, life is full.  I'm sure there are only about 2-3 people still checking in on us biannually SO it's time to bid adieu to the blog life.  We will still travel and adventure and I promise there will still be many pictures being taken.  Feel free to follow along on instagram @sarahjanekaminski or stop by the house - I will continue to make family yearbooks filled with stories and pictures of our family's adventuring.

Blessings to you all and thanks for sharing our journey with us.

Matt volunteered at Sully's TQ Christmas party and when he arrived he noticed that he blended in with the decor.

Christmas in Saskatoon

Matt's parents recently moved to Saskatoon so we were off to SK for Christmas!

First flight...

On our second flight we encountered fog so our one hour flight turned into three and we ended up in Calgary where we had taken off.

the kids playing while daddy was trying to get our new flight and hotel sorted

pizza picnic on the floor of our hotel

and breakfast in bed the next morning - the kids thought it was the greatest!

hitting up the hotel pool

and boarding the flight...again!

the kids did awesome during all the traveling, but they were tired!

We were happy to have finally made it to Saskatoon.  We started off our week at a local kids museum.

It was a great place and the kids had an AWESOME time!

This was the craziest thing - it was like a giant crocheted womb that you could crawl up inside of and climb around and then had different entrances and exits to it - very cool!  The boys spent a good chunk of time in it!

Evy enjoyed the outside "tubes"

We were also blessed to get to see extended family while we were in SK - including Great Papa & Shan!

the kids were VERY impressed with Shan's sewing skills!

We were able to spend some time outside in the snow - one day we were able to go sledding with cousins.

walking by the river - it was beautiful!

the kids always enjoy hanging out with Molly

Grams borrowed some real RCMP gear from a friend of hers - they boys were pumped!

We had a great Christmas break - it was awesome to be with family, fun to explore a new (to us) city and as always were fed like royalty (such a treat)!
